Why should I have my legal will done this way?
It's affordable
If you need legal advice then you should retain a practicing lawyer. But if you are aware of your legal rights and responsibilities and know what you want, this can be a more affordable alternative.
It's easy
DIY Legal Wills kits and automated software websites cost less but ultimately leave you to prepare your documents on your own. And then you still need to get your documents signed, witnessed and affidavits notarized costing more time and money.
It's quick
Needing a Legal Will has probably been weighing on your mind for a while now. One meeting for one hour and you can take care of it once and for all.
It's personal
No need to deal with an impersonal website alone. Meet with a friendly professional who will walk you though the process at a comfortable pace.
It's affordable
You get a legal will, an enduring power of attorney, a healthcare directive (it has different names in each province), and even a guardian appointment for minor children – all for much less than the cost law firms charge just for a simple will.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to prepare?
After booking you will receive an email with a link to a form. It's a quick and easy walk-through that helps you think about the things you may wish to include in your documents.
You should bring one piece of valid, government-issed photo ID. If you need glasses for reading or computer work, bring them too.
What documnts are included?
The most significant document is a Legal Will, also known as a Last Will and Testament. With this document you appoint an Executor and provide him or her with instructions on how to dispose of your property after your death.
In an Enduring Power of Attorney you appoint someone to look after your property and finances in the event you are alive but need help with these tasks.
In a healthcare directive you appoint someone to make health care decisions for you in the event you are unable to do so yourself.
If you have minor children in your care you can appoint a guardian in the event you die or lose the mental capacity to care for them.
Each of these essential documents are accompanied by an Affidavit of Execution which provides the necessary legal proof of their validity.
How much does it cost?
Once you have met with us and the documents are ready we will supervise signing the documents, provide qualified witnesses, provide and notarize affidavits of execution, and make the documents ready for use when needed. The total fee for the service is $395 for one person and $495 for a couple.
There are no extra or hidden costs.
Will I need witnesses?
We will provide the necessary qualified witnesses.
How can I pay?
Payment by debit or credit card is accepted.
Are these documents valid?
Yes. Under our supervision the documents will be prepared and executed properly and sworn affidavits of execution attached to prove validity.
Do you make house calls?
House calls are available at most of our locations for an extra fee. The fee can vary by location but you will be made aware of all costs before booking your appointment.
Do you provide other notary services?
Most locations also offer full notary public service including certified true copies and notarizing agreements, invitation letters, applications, proof of life forms, pension and banking forms, and more. Service also includes acting as local agent for out-of-province legal representatives in real estate conveyances. The booking system will let you choose this type of appointment where it is offered.
What if I have a will kit or used an online will site?
One of the reasons our service was developed was to offer an affordable alternative to will kits and other do it yourself options. Our system relies on templates we are familiar with and know to be acceptable in your province. We therefore only offer our service for documents created by our system.
I only need a small change in my will.
It takes more work to amend an existing will than to create a new one. We encourage you to take this opportunity to get a fresh new set of all your essential estate documents.
